Piano arrangements, crafted with care.

Hi! I'm Joan Alfons, and music is my greatest passion. Since my childhood I have grown up surrounded by music at home, and along the way I have played several instruments.

I have specialised in piano and polyphonic choral singing, directing mixed youth choirs and writing a handful of my own compositions. Lately I've been really enjoying creating extended piano versions of well-known songs.

Joan Alfons's Piano is the home of that work: a personal library of solo piano arrangements of the music I love — French, Italian and Spanish liturgical repertoire, Latin chants, film themes, and a growing catalog of original pieces.

Each arrangement is prepared by hand: singable melodies, warm harmonies, comfortable voicings for the solo pianist, and clean typesetting so the score reads well at first sight. Nothing is padded and nothing is stuffed — the goal is a score you actually want to play.

Every performance you'll find on the site is recorded on my own piano, on the YouTube channel Joan Alfons's Piano. If a score speaks to you, request the PDF by email and I'll send it back to you, ready to print.
